No policy for development of black infrastructure
Burning at the hands of greed and deception.

There is no Black Prince in Harlem
Professional hustlers replacing black roots with outside institutions
Prepared to disappear when direction of wind changes
Black providers forced to relinquish their dreams.

There is no Black Prince in Harlem
Brownstones abandoned years ago
Today inhabited with white faces
While local natives still wait for dreams deferred.

There is no Black Prince in Harlem
The local empowerment zone on the take
Partner in the conspiracy to sell Harlem to the most connected or highest bidder
The same manner it sold the illusion of the Third World Institute.

The Apollo rescued from the hands of Black Dracula
There is no Black Prince in Harlem
One must bypass above the showcase of illusion to see the purpose.
